About the event
Elzė Fedorcovaitė is a Lithuanian pianist and laureate of more than 20 international competitions. She has performed in numerous European concert halls with orchestras such as Lviv, St. Kristoforas, Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy Chamber Orchestras, and the Kielce (Poland) and M.K. Čiurlionis Symphony Orchestras. Recently, she has won top prizes in competitions in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Lithuania.
Elzė has participated in chamber masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Shunske Sato, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Peter Brunt, Ellen Corver, Joseph Swensen, and Maya Iwabuchi. She has performed recitals for music lovers in Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Finland, and Lithuania. Her solo performances have been enhanced through the guidance of esteemed pianists like Nikolai Lugansky, Andzej Jasinsky, Eugen Indjic, Mūza Rubackytė, Andrius Žlabys, and Erik T. Tawaststjerna.
In 2020, Elzė graduated from the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius, Lithuania, under Professor Aleksandra Žvirblytė, and she is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland under Professors Fali Pavri and Petras Geniušas. In 2023, she formed the Chiara Piano Trio with violinist Yik Liang Soo (Malaysia) and cellist Khalil Johnson (USA). The trio has performed in concert series across Scotland, including venues in Inverness, Inverurie, Berwick Upon Tweed, Melrose, and Glasgow, with upcoming performances in Perth Concert Hall, among others.
