About the event

Apollo's Melody is a flute and harp duo formed at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS). The duo features Yeva, a harpist from Kyiv, Ukraine, and Lily, an accomplished flutist.

Yeva completed her master's degree at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy and has worked with national orchestras and ensembles of Ukraine. She has participated in studio recordings for the National Radio and Television of Ukraine and has toured extensively with symphony orchestras across Europe, Great Britain, Asia, and the Middle East. In addition to her concert activities in Glasgow, Yeva continues to teach students online from Ukraine, the UK, and Japan while pursuing further studies at RCS.

Lily is nearing the completion of her master's degree in flute performance and is poised to begin her professional career. She has studied under esteemed flutists such as Ruth Morley, Helen Brew, Katherine Bryan, Georgia Browne, Janet Richardson, and Luke Russell. In 2024, Lily won the prestigious Governor’s Recital Prize for Woodwind. Together, Lily and Yeva have been coached as a duo by Andre Cebrian, the principal flutist of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

Apollo's Melody combines the rich tones of the harp and the expressive sounds of the flute, creating captivating performances that reflect their extensive training and artistic synergy.
