
Lowri Probert
Lowri is a soprano from Brecon, South Wales. She is currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester under the tuition of Jane Irwin.
Before arriving at college in 2016, Lowri was involved in several groups for young singers, including Welsh National Opera's Youth Opera and Ty Cerdd's Training Choirs. Through these groups, she gained experience of Opera Scenes and was given opportunities to study roles such as Cherubino from Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Dido from Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
Lowri also had the privilege of being one of the choral scholars with Crickhowell Choral Society. As well as performing within the choir, Lowri has also sung as a soloist with the choir on a number of occasions, such as singing the alto solo in Handel's Messiah; 2015, and the mezzo-soprano solo in Mahler's 2nd Symphony, 2017.
